Our Story

"Brotherhood Born at La Masia: Our Journey to Inspire the Next Generation of Players"

Our academy was born from the strong bond between Albert Portas, Carlos Portas, and their coach, Isaac García, at La Masia. Isaac coached Albert for two years, and despite going separate ways—Albert and Carlos to the U.S. and Isaac continuing as a coach in Spain—they stayed connected. Like many friendships that last across distances, Isaac reached out with an idea: to bring La Masia’s elite training to young players in the U.S. Together, they founded the academy, aiming to inspire the next generation both on and off the field.

In this photo, Isaac García (circled) is coaching two standout talents: Xavi Simons (circled), now a professional player for RB Leipzig and a member of the Dutch national team, and Alejandro Balde (circled), who plays for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team. Both players have gone on to achieve incredible success in their professional careers.

Here is Albert Portas playing for FC Barcelona’s Cadet B team, alongside Sergio Gómez (both circled), who is now a professional player for Real Sociedad in La Liga. Sergio also had a successful stint with Manchester City, where he won the Champions League. Albert and Sergio remain close friends to this day.

In this photo from 2012, Isaac García coaches Albert Portas (both circled) and his team, FC Barcelona Alevín A, during the prestigious Brunete tournament, one of the most famous youth soccer competitions in Spain.

Albert and Carlos Portas, co-founders of P4SA, played together on FC Barcelona’s U10 team in 2010. They were teammates for two years during their time at La Masia.
